槟城中艺华乐中心是马来西亚最早成立的华乐院校之一，槟城首间专职教导古筝，笛子等华族乐器，由赖亚来P.K.T/P.J.M/P.J.K 所创办。创办人赖亚来老师是马来西亚资深知名的华乐导师，擅长于演奏古筝，笛子等华族乐器。他的古筝技艺早期获得已故陈蕾士教授、新加坡欧阳良荣、西安音乐学院攀艺风、北京民族学院张珊等老师指点。

Penang Chong Yee Music Centre is one of the earliest traditional Chinese music academies to be found. It is also the first music academy found by P.K.T/P.J.M/P.J.K Mr Lai Ah Lai that specialises in traditional Chinese musical instrument courses like Gu Zheng and the Chinese flute.The founder Mr Lai Ah Lai is an experienced Chinese orchestra instructor in Malaysia. His expertise is in playing Gu Zheng, the Chinese flute and several other traditional Chinese musical instruments. In his early days, he was tutored by tutors including the late professor Tan Lei Shi, Ou Yang Liang Rong from Singapore, Pan Yi Feng from the Xi’an Conservatory of Music and Zhang Shan from the Minzu University of China.

2012 年，中艺华乐中心正式成立马来西亚中艺音乐学院，近年本院受邀担任新加坡国立大学艺术中心、南洋理工大学孔子学院及鼟学院华乐器乐考级海外顾问及签办考级，以便本地华乐学者出国深造。2021年开始主办全国中学华乐团器乐基础检定考试，同时也相信在未来能够开办更多有利于推广华族音乐的相关教育课程。

In year 2012, Chong Yee Music Centre officially found Chong Yee Music Academy. Our academy had been invited to several academies including the National University of Singapore Arts Centre, the Confucius Institute of Nanyang Technological University and the Teng Academy to take the place as their foreign advisor in music exams and processing examination documents to give local students a chance to continue their studies abroad. From 2021, our academy started organizing a national Chinese musical instrument examination and we believe that we could open more education courses that would help spread traditional Chinese music in the future.

“槟城中艺民族乐团” 的前身为槟城中艺华乐中心属下的中艺华乐团，并于2019年正式注册成立为 “槟城中艺民族乐团”，为非盈利民办艺术团体。乐团属下分有行政团队及艺术团队共同运作，由乐团主席兼艺术总监赖亚来PKT, PJK, PJM领导。此外，乐团也邀请了新加坡华乐团（SCO）现任乐团首席及胡琴演奏家 - 李宝顺老师、胡琴演奏家 - 周经豪老师、笛箫演奏家 - 林信有老师担任乐团海外名誉顾问。 

“Penang Chong Yee Chinese Orchestra” was the “Chong Yee Chinese Orchestra” under Chong Yee Music Centre and officially registered as the NGO named “Penang Chong Yee Chinese Orchestra” in 2019. The orchestra runs under the leadership of P.K.T/P.J.M/P.J.K Mr Lai Ah Lai with the help of an executive committee and arts team. Other than that, the orchestra has also invited the current concert master of the Singapore Chinese Orchestra and Hu Qing performer – Mr Lee Bao Shun, Hu Qing performer – Mr Zhou Jing Hao and Chinese flute performer – Mr Lim Xin You to be the foreign advisors of the orchestra.
